Installing a legal research program

BNA Tax Management Portfolio Plus
After CD/DVDs have been Imaged on the Virtual CD/DVD Server and a mapping made to the shared, or "virtual" volume, a setup must be must be run for every disc/disc series to install the BNA program.

Install the Program
Server Installation

1. Browse mapping to CD
2. Run X:\SETUP.EXE (on disc or first disc of series)
3. Select Network Installation
4. Select the network destination directory (i.e.: F:\APPS )
5. Access Code & Installation Options
   1. Enter Access Code for disc/disc series
   2. Enter path to Disc A, Disc B
6. Interactive Forms & Win32 Options
   1. Select settings as desired
7. Click on Finish

Workstation Installation

1. Map a drive to the network directory where the BNA application is stored (i.e.: F:\APPS\TMWIN )
2. Click on Start, Select Run
3. If the path created in step 1 was F:\APPS\TMWIN, enter that path plus the further command of SETUP TMCW or SETUP TMxW (i.e.: F:\APPS\TMWIN\SETUP TMCW )
4. Enter a valid DOS style (8 character) username
5. Restart Windows when prompted

Update Discs
Delete the original Imaged disc. Image the new disc, using the same volume name (ex: CD1001 ). If the same volume name is used, no further steps are required. If a new volume name is used, then setup must be re-run from the new volume.
